A Metacomputer Architecture Based on Cooperative Resource Management

Computing rsources which are transparently available to the user via networked environments are commonly called a metacomputer. To establish a metacomputer there must be a software integrating the corresponding systems into one vitrual computer. This paper presents a Kerberos-DCE based architecture which is based on features provided by kerberos and DCE including Ticket Forwarding, DEC-Deleation, Cell Directory Service and Cell Alisasing.
