摘要

The estimation of temperature field incurred by the discharged cooling water in power plant is an important research issue put forward by engineering practice. Based on the previous studies, this paper presents a set of numerical simulation method for the two dimensional temperature field incurred by the cooling water from power plant. Based on the depth-averaged 2-D flow and thermal transport basic equations, the mentioned model considers the possibly existed source-sink function at the side and/or bottom of river, adopts an efficient operator-splitting finite element method (OSFEM) to solve the control equations, which have excellent calculation precision and stability and also flexibly fits complex boundary. Therefore, this model has widely scope of application. Applied on the research of cooling water discharge issue for Wujing and Yangzonghai Power Plant, this model developed on this paper has achieved reasonable result and demonstrated good generalization.
