Considerations to the Reliability of Power Line Communication

The reliability is an especially important problem to the automatic meter reading systems based on power line communication. Quality of the reliability affects the normal work of the system directly. In this paper, some suggestions are made aiming at increasing the reliability of the power line communication, such as the technique of multiple accesses, the protocol of relay, and some other ways.
