A New Fuzzy Logic Controller for MIMO Systems

This paper presents a new multi-input-multi- output fuzzy logic controller (MIMOFLC). The controller is made up of some multi-input- single-output fuzzy logic controllers (MISOFLC). Each MISOFLC consists of many single-input-single-output fuzzy logic controllers (SISOFLC). The membership functions of the controller are of a complement type, it has a set of switching surface. The system is asymptotically stable if the scaling factors satisfy certain condition. Simulation experiments based on a two-links manipulator demonstrated the validity of the proposed algorithms.
