摘要

The effect of AC-side load on the sudden DC-side short-circuit current of a 3-&12-phase double-winding AC-DC generator(DWADG) is analyzed by numeric calculation and experiment, the physical interpretation of which is also presented. The results show that the value of AC-side load current has considerable effect on the DC-side short-circuit current, but the power factor has little effect. In addition , it is shown that the expression of DC-side short-circuit current of a 12-phase synchronous generator-rectifier system is merely a special case of the expression of DC-side short-circuit current of a 3-&12-phase DWADG with the AC winding preloaded.
