In one-of-a-kind production products are manufactured Individually according to the special requirements of the costumers inquiry. It is only possible to determine precise offer after finishing process planning and design. According to the fact that less than one offer out of ten leads to an order it is not justifabie to work out a precise calculation. In the following two methods based on a functional product structure are described which make it possible to get a first reliable price determination. Basis of the first approach is an estimation referring to cost-formulas for assemblies. The sum of the results of each assembly represent the total costs. The second is an improvement of the process planning and its integration into the tendering by reusing post-calculated orders.
