AUTOMATED PROCESS PLANNING: THE ESSENTIAL STEPS IN AUTO-PANEL INTEGRATED DEVELOPING AND MANUFACTURING SYSTEM

摘要

This paper proposes a framework of auto-panel's die developing and manufacturing system in an integrated environment. The main issue of the system addressed in this paper is the process planning, which is the essential of an integrated system. The key technical problems and the proposed solution methods of forming process planning and manufacturing process planning are presented, respectively. The goal of this research is to reduce the lead time and product cost in die developing and manufacturing.
