摘要

PA6 film structure is studied in relation to annealing and plastic deformation. In contrast with polyolefins, PA6 displays propensity for cracking upon biaxial drawing at high temperature that is ascribed to the high anisotropy of the sheet-like structure of the stable crystalline form. Better ductility far below the melting point of melt-cast films results from the isotropy of the mesomorphic structure produced by quenching and its preservation during drawing.
