On the meaning and necessity of CAI for theoretical mechanics

CAI of theoretical mechanics is the first part of CAI of theoretical physics. Its DOS version is finished. This paper is a brief summary and some considerations. In the paper following problems are discussed: 1. The meaning and necessity of CAI for theoretical physics. 2. The aim and standpoint of the software and its main characteristics. 3. Some considerations on the selection of contents of the software.
