Presents basic configuration and heat exchange system of oil-fired unit heater. Discusses heat transfer principles of the unit, presents a series of energy conservation expressions, obtains a set of heat exchange formulae fitting for its special structure, and compiles simulating program for the thermal system calculation. The calculated results show a good agreement with experimental results.
