摘要

Based on experimental research work new design models for the load introduction in composite columns with concrete filled hollow sections were developed taking into account the effects of partially loaded areas and the effects of the restraint by the hollow section. The presented models are the basis for the design rules of composite columns in prEN 1994-1-1. It is verified by tests that for the load introduction reinforcement can be taken into account for the resistance of the column, even where the reinforcement is not welded or in direct contact to end plates.
