In urban areas environmental pollution has begun to exceed the admissible limits because of the motorizing rate and intensifying the transport activity. The urban public transport is an important pollution source as well as a great energy consumer. Trolleybuses operating instead of buses may contribute in growing the urban life quality by reducing the environmental pollution and also decreasing the specific energy consumption and operating costs.
