Offsite Source Recovery Project (OSRP) at the US Los Alamos NationalrnLaboratory is a good example how a laboratory can assist in improving nuclear and radiationrnsafety in the US and other countries. OSRP also supports the US Global Threat ReductionrnInitiative in the area of removal and recover of radiological materials. In particular, OSRPrnlocates, identifies, and removes disused and unwanted sources from various locations in the USrnand internationally.
