摘要

A real-time prediction system on GUI was developed to simulate tidal currents and SSrndispersion in coastal waters and to show the results on PC Window in real-time. The systemrnis a real-time monitoring system for providing the information on the tidal currents and therntransport of suspended sediments occurred by port & harbor construction such as dredging.rnThe system consists of pre-processing module, modeling module and post processingrnmodule. The modeling module includes a tide model using a finite element method and arnSS transport model using a particle-tracking method. This system was applied to predict therntidal currents and SS concentration in Kunsan port. The results show that the system can bernused to obtain real-time information on environmental impact parameters such as SS due tornport & harbor construction.
