A 2-TUPLE GENETIC ALGORITHM FOR THE FIRST PHASE OF THE NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: THE 2-TGANPD MODEL

摘要

The aim of this paper is to present a model making it possible to determine the technical characteristics that should be incorporated into a new product. This would be done by optimizing the information available about consumer preferences, so that their requirements are taken into consideration from the beginning of the process of New Product Development (NPD). Also, an illustrative example is offered in order to facilitating the explanation of the model proposed.
