There are a number of spatial relations. Unlike existing spatial relations that are mainly concurred with their physical aspects, we attempt to formalize those relations with respect to human notions on them. So we propose the topological adjacency relation, namely TAR, to implement an intelligent agent that is similar to way of human thinking. The TAR is a relation that determines adjacency among a central object and other physical objects on a 3-dimensional connected metric space. Since extent of scope of agent is proportion at the size of a central object, the center of attention to agent, the TAR depends on the size of its associated closed ball including a central object.
