Memorial dynamics of the atmosphere and its nonlinear feature

摘要

In introducing a memory function into the dynamic-thermodynamic equations of the atmosphere, so-called self-memorization equations, which are difference-integral equations actually, have been formulated. A self-memory ratio is also defined. It is argued that many difference schemes in the numerical weather prediction (NWP) can be derived from the equations by giving specific values to the memory function. Furthermore, a new type of difference schemes is suggested, which is called a multilevel time integration scheme for the NWP. Besides, Nonlinear feature of memorial dynamics is proved mathematically.
