A Review of Performance Enhancement in Solar Desalination Systems with the Application of Nanofluids

Solar distillation systems are playing important role for producing fresh water for its consumers like domestic, industrial and agriculture. Nanofluids are very promising medium utilized in solar distillation systems by which the distillate productivity can be increased up to a great level. It is because of the extraordinary thermo-physical and optical properties that emphasizes the attention of various researches to do more and more study in this area. In the present review, it has been focused on the recent advancements and utilization of nanofluids in solar distillers. A comprehensive conclusion has been made along with some recommendation for futuristic approach.
