Adaptable frequency of high frequency power should be selected to obtain perfect solder joint duringrnhigh frequency induction brazing according to the physical performance of joint materials. Numerical selectionrnmodel for the frequency and its arrange of high frequency induction heating power was set up by means ofrncomputer assistant design. It showed that Numerical analysis could be used as an important artifice for design ofrnhigh frequency power equipment. Compared the analytical results from the numerical model with that of therntraditional formula δ=√2/ωμσ , it showed that the former was more accurate. Since the latter was derivedrnfrom the plane electromagnetic wave spreading characteristic in electro-conductive inter-media, it was more fitrnfor the frequency selection of board structure high frequency induction heating. But for frequency selection ofrnpipe-structure or more complex structure high frequency induction heating, the numerical analytical method wasrnbetter.
