FSW structure distortion of different parameters and tools was measured and analyzed in this paper. Resultsrnshowed that smaller tool shoulder and lower welding energy would reduced distortion. Under optimized weldingrnparameters, Dynamic Control of welding distortion (DC-LSND) which was usually used in TIG was introduced tornFSW, and its effects on structure distortion and residual stresses were also researched.
