Development of FSW Welder for Thin Aluminum Barrel

摘要

According to the requirements of thin aluminum barrel circumferential welding, China FSW Center hadrnsucceeded in developing the purpose-designed Friction Stir Welding machine on the base of essential study of thernFSW technology, accompanying with the achievement of the elaborative fabricated jigs for the thin barrel. It's thernfirst Chinese industrial application of FSW on the small diameter cylinder product. With perfect mechanicrnproperties, FSW helps to make this aluminum barrel into mass production.
