摘要

According to industrial layout of the rolling stands of 2050 hot rolling mill at BaoSteel, a set of thermal models had been developed, which had been applied to simulate the whole thermal process during hot deformation operation in the mill. The predicted thermal data was verified against industrial measurement and it had shown that the prediction accuracy of developed thermal models is acceptable and reasonable. The developed models are very helpful to improve the product quality and to optimize processing parameters during hot rolling operation.
