摘要

Microporous polyurethane membrane has been widely used in functional clothing, filtering materials and medical fabrics for its waterproof and moisture permeability. The water vapor permeability mainly depends on the mean pore size, pore size distribution of polyurethane membrane and its hydrophilic group content. To improve the property, modified carboxymethyl cellulose was used as an additive to cast the polyurethane membrane. PMI pore size, water vapor permeability and hydrostatic pressure testers were employed, and effects of modified carboxymethyl cellulose on the waterproof and moisture permeability of polyurethane membrane were discussed. It is found that modified carboxymethyl cellulose influences the microstructure and hydrophilic groups of polyurethane membranes, and therefore affects its properties.
