Ultramarine Blue - A Unique Colour for Unique Effects

Ultramarine blue is the synthetic version of the naturally occurring mineral Lapis Lazuli. This historically significant inorganic pigment is widely used in plastics due to its non-warping characteristics and non-toxic profile. This paper will describe how the unique colour space occupied by ultramarine blue can be used to differentiate a range of products and also go on to discuss how this can be enhanced by the combination with a range of effect pigments.
