The activities in Japan to develop thermal analysis standards and standards methods

Main standardization activity of the thermal analysis in Japan as follows. 1. Development of the standard materials. 2. Establishment of domestic official methods as JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards). 3. Establishment of international official standards as ISO. 4. Education of correct measurement methods. We payed attention to Japanese industrial standards of test method for thermal process of rubbers and plastics, and the Japanese activities are introduced.
