Application Research of PPS Filter Used on Coal-Boiler Baghouse

摘要

PPS needle felt is a kind of high temperature filter medium which is made of Polyphenylene sulfide fiber with needle technical process. There are better high temperature performance, corrosive resistance performance and flammable resistance performance, so it becomes prior filter of dealing with city rubbish burning gas and coal — boiler power plant removing on smoke. The paper mainly compares and researches an breaking strength, elongation, high temperature resistance performance, tearing strength according to the test method mentioned in GB 12625—2005 and spectrum analysis of PPS, then analyze the reasons of failure which are important to practical application. From test we know that in order to prolong the lifespan of filter medium, measures of avoid aging caused by excess temperature should be done, which includes that cleaning timely, treating filter with high temperature in factory.
