A Method Proposed for Adoption of Digital Technology in Architectural Heritage Documentation

摘要

This paper aims to present results of a research focused on defining guidelines forrncreation of a comprehensive digital archive and improvement of the procedures of filing, documentation, popularisation, management and protection of architectural heritage. The research presents a clear vision of the potential use of ICT in this field. The study focuses on the employment of the latest technologies in cultivating the architectural past, bringing this past to life and thus making the connection to the present and future.
