Changes in Immune Function of Workers Exposed to Low Concentration of Trichloroethylene

摘要

[Objective] To observe changes in humoral and cellular immunity of workers exposed to low concentration of trichloro-ethylene(TCE).[Methods] The concentration of TCE in workplace was detected. 48 TCE-exposed workers and 45 non-TCE-exposed workers were chosen as subjets. The indexes of TCA in urine, IgG, IgA, IgM and IgE in serum and T lymphocyte subgroups were analyzed. Workers exposed to TCE were divided into low TCE-exposed group (TCA ≤ 50 mg/L) and high TCE-exposed group (TCA > 50 mg/L) by the index of TCA in urine. [Results] (1) IgM in low TCE-exposed group and high TCE-exposed group were(1.22±0.35)g/l, (1.27±0.58)g/l, respectively, which were significantly lower than that of control group (1.48±0.61)g/l (P < 0.05).(2) IgG and IgA in low TCE-exposed group and high TCE-exposed group tended to decrease respectively.(3)CD_3~+ in low TCE-exposed group and high TCE-exposed group were(71.26±13.23)%, (61.80±12.33)%, respectively, which were significantly lower than that of control group (81.28±9.17)% (P < 0.01).(4) CD_4~+ in low TCE-exposed group and high TCE-exposed group were( 39.61 ± 10.22)%,(36.28+7.29)%, respectively, which were significantly lower than that of control group (70.27±13.82)% (P < 0.01).(5) CD_8~+ in low TCE-exposed group and high TCE-exposed group were ( 50.87±12.80)%, (46.20±9.17)%, respectively, which were significantly higher than that of control group(31.48±11.95) (P < 0.01). [Conclusion] The functions of humoral and cellular immunity of workers would reduce when exposed to low concentration of TCE.
