Assessing of the Solid-Borne Noise Produced by the Urban Traffic. Case Study: The Church of San Giuseppe dei Teatini (St. Joseph of the Theatines) in Palermo

摘要

From the data elaborations an increase of the level of vibrations at low frequencies (20 - 80 Hz)is noticed in correspondence of the heavy vehicles transit, in comparison to the vibration valuemeasured at the light vehicles passage. Such frequencies are those characteristics of the vehiculartraffic; therefore the measured vibratory phenomenon is due to the vehicles passage.
