Acoustic Emissions Verification Testing of International Space Station Experiment Racks at the NASA Glenn Research Center Acoustical Testing Laboratory

The Acoustical Testing Laboratory (ATL) at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA) John H. Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, Ohio, provides acoustic emissiontesting and noise control engineering services for a variety of customers, particularly developersof equipment and science experiments manifested for NASA’s manned space missions. TheATL provides a comprehensive array of acoustical testing services, including sound pressurelevel testing per ISO 11201 and sound power level testing per ISO 3744. The ATL isaccredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP code 200557-0) for both of these standards.
