The pattern of the radio wireless data transmission used in HV on-line monitoring equipments

The on-line monitoring system used for condition-based maintenance in power system is gradually become practical. In such a kind of system, data transmission reliability is one of the key factors to compose a rather exact monitoring system. The radio wireless data transmission maybe a new choice. In short distance the best choice of wireless data transmission maybe the free channel FSK mode. As for the long distance, the best choice maybe GSM modem. In this paper, these kinds of radio data transmission modes are analyzed. Short and long distance data transmission mode is described in detail. At the end of this paper, an application is shown which certified the effectiveness of the system.
