A Study of Optimization and Control of HVAC Systems with Multi-Energy Resources on Supply Side

With the development of HVAC industry, many energy resource forms come to engineers' eyes. It brings about not only great prospect to energy crisis but challenges for engineers. The paper builds thermodynamic models for primary equipment, predict the building loads and conduct an optimization process for a definite project in order to find out the most optimal energy resource assignment for cost-optimal scheme. By sensitive analysis, we find out that renewable energy resources should be used in projects of big building loads such as CBDs (Commercial Building Districts), while buildings with small loads tends to be designed of original energy forms.
