Towards Excellence in Gulbarga University Library, Karnataka : Impact of Commonwealth Professional Fellowship

Fellowship programs are one of the means to enhance the skills and imbibe self confidence among the librarians to improve the quality of professional services for the benefit of user community in the academic and research setup. The author attempts to share his experiences and observations based on the Commonwealth Professional Fellowship received and its impact on home institution in incorporating the best possible innovative practices, technologies and services rendered in the academic libraries of United Kingdom.
