Knowledge Management System using CORE Repository

摘要

In this paper, an attempt is being made to develop a knowledge base using CORE(COnnecting REpositories). The CORE repository collects information from open access repositories and journal resources. As the retrieval engine of CORE repository does not allow the multiple selections and downloading of search results, an algorithm was developed to access the data using API. This process developed was based on developing query based on the Subject Profile to execute it on the CORE database and fetch the results using API of CORE. The fetched data was further sorted using the 'Priority Logic' to establish the relevancy. Finally, the search results were converted into the 'Bibtex' format to map the relevant records into our local database. This database was used as an input to provide information services on Intranet to the users.
