Prospects of china space programs in the 21st century

The objective of developing space technology in China is to serve national economic development. In the early next century, China will establish several stable, operational satellite systems: communication and broadcasting, environment and earth resource exploration, disster mitigation, microgravity resource, smallsat etc.; give priority to the development of payload and satellite bus, expand the international cooperation and technical exchanges; China begin to develop key technologies in the areas of manned space flight and deep space exploration.
