A High Performance EML TOSA Employing FPC Interface for 53 GBaud PAM4

We report a high speed EML assembled in the TOSA package. A low loss LCP flexible print circuit was applied as an electric interface and demonstrated large bandwidth of 35.5 GHz and low SECQ value of 2.08dB were obtained, which are comparable to EML itself. The high performance TOSA with cost effective FPC is promising candidate for 53.2 GBaud PAM4 application.
