The history of creation, application, and development of screw compressors for today is considered. The problem of low efficiency and reliability of screw single-rotor compressors operation is described, the problem of improving the profiles of working bodies. A system of differential equations for the mutual arrangement of the working bodies of a screw-type rotor-type compressor in vertical and horizontal planes is proposed to determine the position of any point on the contour of the tooth on the cutter and on the screw in a fixed coordinate system. The relationship between the moving coordinates of the screw and the fixed coordinates of the cutoff for an infinitely thin cut-off is considered. It is established that to determine the coordinates of any point that is on the cutter's tooth of infinitely small thickness and for any point of the cavity of the screw it is possible to determine the coordinates of the resulting system of equations. It is justified to use computer modeling and Boolean operations to create a no-gap connection between the working bodies of a screw-type single-rotor compressor by the virtual break-in method. The resulted results of the calculation of the coupling equations between the moving coordinates of the screw and the fixed coordinates of the cutter, and computer simulation, enable the use of CAD / CAM-systems for profiling the working parts of screw single-rotor compressors with a gapless and gapless connection.
