Wave effects on tidal current in Bohai sea is investigated in thispaper. In three-dimensional condition, Wave effects were addedinto tidal current governed equation as five source terms:radiation stress, surface and bottom boundary layer, Stokes driftand Coriolis wave stress. Through dimensional analysis thequantity of different wave effects was analyzed in differentdepth. Through the numerical simulation, the results show thatthe effect of wave mainly represented in the vertical distributionof tidal current, especially in the shallow water area. But thedepth-averaged elevation and velocity is hardly affected by thewave.
