摘要

Three dimensional numerical simulation with explicit time integrationscheme was conducted to predict the seismic response of Tianjin HaiheRiver immersed tunnel. The simulation is performed with LS-DYNA.The finite element model includes surrounding soil, immersed tunneland joints. Material nonlinearity, contact interaction between structureand surrounding soil and non-reflecting boundary are considered. Thejoints between tunnel segments are simplified with nonlinear elasticbeam member. Seismic wave is transferred to the model from bottom infour typical angles. The responses of the whole system are obtained asresult, which can provide a comprehensive understanding of howimmersed tunnel behave under seismic loading.
