Relation of Embossing Surface on the Optical Characteristics of Reflective Color Display

摘要

Many people have recently studying reflective color TFT-LCD because it has low power consumption, lightweight, and unique thin shape as a mobile display tool. We have studied reflective LCD with single polarizer to get a best condition of reflector and polarizer such as high reflectance, high contrast ratio, and wide viewing angle. Especially, we have studied an optical characteristic of the reflective TN mode TFT-LCD to research a relationship depending on the slope angle distribution of embossing reflector.
