Ultra-High Resolution Large-sized TFT LCD Monitor Electronics

摘要

Ultra-high resolution monitors differ from conventional monitors significantly in the display interface to be supported because conventional display interfaces and graphics subsystems cannot provide enough performance to exploit ultra-high resolution monitors. The 22' 9.2M-Pixel 204DPI TFT-LCD monitor can support various display interfaces including multiple display interface to support ultra-high resolution with various graphics subsystems/applications from a PC cluster. This paper explains the architecture of the 9.2M-pixel monitor to support ultra-high resolution, and discusses new functions and utility to be developed additionally for usability improvement.
