THE ASPECTS OF GOOD GOVERNANCE IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

摘要

Using content analysis, through a descriptive documentary research, this study aims at identifying the mechanisms of good governance at a global level, particularly the European one. Also we have taken into consideration the consequences of globalization on good governance. For this purpose, we have conceived an analysis of specific objectives such as: good governance, the identification of the European dimensions of good governance principles, the relationship between good governance and good administration according to the profound institutional changes caused by globalization. We consider that globalization is an irreversible process and its consequences upon good governance are related to its effects on the global economy, the access to new knowledge and technologies, expanding the investment opportunities.
