Study on Ecological Compensation in River Basins in China

摘要

Facing the dilemma of ecological protection and economic development, we should make use of the watershed eco-compensation mechanism to solve regional conflict and promote sustainable development. After analyzing problems of current compensation for ecological services in river basins, using game theory, the paper promulgates the operation pattern of eco-compensation mechanism, and defines the compensator, the receiver, the standard and financing channels of eco-compensation mechanism in river basins, and proposes eco-compensation system should be well integrated with industrial structures.
