New Control Strategies for the Lng Process Les Nouvelles Strategies De Reglage Pour Le Processus Gnl

摘要

For the past 20 years, Air Products has recommended a patented control strategy for all of the baseload LNG processes it has licensed. In recent years, Air Products embarked on an effort to review this traditional control strategy. Rigorous dynamic simulation and control analysis tools were applied to enhance our understanding of hte dynamic characteristics of the LNG process and to make new control recommendations based on this understanding. This paper presents the main result of the studies: two new regulatory control strategies for baseload LNG plants.
