Welcome to the Cloud and Trusted Computing 2014 (ex-DOA), the fourth International Symposium on Cloud Computing, Trusted Computing and Secure Virtual Infrastructures, held in Amantea, Italy. This year the conference extends its scope, explicitly incorporating Cloud Computing. Cloud Computing is establishing itself as 'the' paradigm for software consumption, boosted by low-entry barriers, and economic convenience. At the same time, with users losing of control of infrastructure, Cloud Computing is raising major trust, security and privacy challenges such managing user personal information, verifying secure configurations or assuring reliable performances.
