Examination of Abilities based on Pseudolite System for Indoor Positioning

Recently,the GPS has been indispensable to positioning. The GPS technology is the important social infrastructure for a position information offering. However, in some situations, such as in underground space, inside of buildings,it is really hard to navigate with GPS receiver. Therefore,in order to improve the performance of satellite-based positioning, using the pseudolite technology has been proposed. It is expected that seamless positioning service can be provided in wider area without replacing existing GPS receivers, with the pseudolite technology. The position information is required in order to move robot. We have developed the positioning system which is possible to achieve positioning in indoor.
