Windows Distributed inter-Net Architecture (WindowsrnDNA) is an important developing architecture to futurernmanufacturing software for contemporary manufacturingrnenterprise (CME). In this paper, the existent problems ofrnmanufacturing information system from the point of viewrnto software architecture and function are analyzed, and thernpractical demands of manufacturing information systemrnfor advanced manufacturing mode are expatiated. Somernfeatures of manufacturing information system based onrnWindows DNA are described in detail. Moreover, thernintegrated application solution framework based onrnWindows DNA is introduced. A new distributed networkrnmanufacturing information system and its key techniquesrnare also presented.
