Pattern is a reusable description of knowl-rnedge. Efu0002cient software development can be achieved byrnsharing and reusing knowledge using patterns and their re-rnlations. Because manual analysis of relations among pat-rnterns cost a lot, we proposed an automatic relation analy-rnsis technique for software patterns. Knowledge manage-rnment in embedded software designing falls behind. Knowl-rnedge was often inherited implicitly. However, in these days,rnsome patterns in embedded software design have becomernavailable inWorldWideWeb (WWW) and other resources.rnThe purpose of this paper is to obtain some useful crosscut-rnting relations over embedded software design patterns andrnGoF's design patterns. Our technique will be used for au-rntomatic analyzing the relations among patterns. On a resultrnof experiments, some relations cross-cutting over differentrnpattern catalogs (e.g. GoF's design pattern catalog and real-rntime system design pattern catalog) are extracted. Thesernrelations are thought to be useful in software development.
