Specifying rectifiers for electrochemical applications

This paper details the information that a purchaser of annindustrial rectifier needs to provide to a potential vendor. Each of thenmajor components of a rectifier system (the power system, coolingnsystem, converter and control) is described, along with the keynparameters needed to specify each. The emphasis is on rectifiers fornelectrochemical applications, although most of the paper is relevant fornany large rectifier installation. A form is introduced to make it easiernfor purchasers to transmit their requirements to vendors
