An automated procedure for selecting frequency and record length when testing data converters

In this paper, an automated converter test design procedure is presented, which selects the record length and frequency for properly testing an A/D converter or a D/A converter given its nominal resolution. An open source algorithm implementation is discussed. Simulation results are also presented, validating the proposed approach.
